A laptop is smaller than a desktop computer which is a good thing about a laptop. Also it is small enough that you can bring it with you and use wherever you are in the world. Laptops have a built in keyboard and mouse pad where you use your finger as the mouse and some laptops have built in webcams.

Normally laptops have a 15 inch screen and there storage space is really good with some laptops having nearly 500 GB of space and 2-4 GB of memory (RAM) which is really good if you want to save documents on your laptop. There is a bad point about laptops they only last for about 2-3 hours before you have to put the charger in, most laptops have a built in DVD players.

Wi-Fi on laptops has good connection so you can use the laptop to surf the internet while you are on the sofa or out of the house, in work or in cafe’s that have WI-FI. You can work from anywhere in the world. Laptops normally cost anywhere from £200 to £900. Some of the recent laptops that have been made are able to run the very latest computer games, programs and software.
